This article is about the Anime Universe Blood Falcon. For his Main Universe counterpart, see Blood Falcon.

Template:AnimeverseOnly Template:Character Blood Falcon was the pilot of the Blood Hawk. As the evil clone of Captain Falcon, he was created by Black Shadow to serve in Dark Million. There were at least 28 Blood Falcons throughout the entire anime, but all of them are deceased.

Appearance

Blood Falcon had a very similar appearance to Captain Falcon. However, Blood Falcon's color palette consisted of red, gold, silver, and blue. In further contrast from Captain Falcon, Blood Falcon's scarf was also always outward instead of being tucked in. However, his visor 'eyes' are identical to Captain Falcon, unlike their Main Universe counterparts who respectively have different 'eyes'. Blood Falcon also had skull designs in place of Captain Falcon's falcon designs on the helmet and boots.

Personality

Blood Falcon appeared to be more diabolical and violent than his Main Universe counterpart. He had no issues breaking the Grand Prix rules so long as he got to cause mayhem, as seen in the way he drove in Lap 30 and Lap 39.

He was also willing to disregard the lives of his fellow Dark Million members as well, evident by him driving right into their machines during his first on-screen race in Lap 30, as well as when he told Miss Killer not to tell him what to do in Lap 31. Despite this, he seemed to have a limit as he had never actually made an attempt to betray Black Shadow. He also seemed to be much less concerned about his identity, and more concerned with outright challenging Falcon at any given moment.

History

F-Zero Farukon Densetsu (Anime)

2202

The first Blood Falcon was created as a clone of Andy Summer (who was secretly Captain Falcon at the time), whose DNA was stolen by Dark Million while Dr. Stewart worked to revive Roy Hughes in the year 2202. This first Blood Falcon appeared by the end of Lap 29, and would carry out his mission in Lap 30.

After the first one's Blood Hawk exploded in a race on the planet Lightning, several others were seen within Dark Million's lab. However, despite the group, there was only one Blood Falcon in Lap 31.

The Blood Falcon in Lap 31 was tasked with taking out Ryu Suzaku, after the former was led into trap for believing in Billy's lie. Blood Falcon's attempt to finish the job was intercepted by Captain Falcon, who arrived, but was restrained by Dark Soldiers. No longer offering a fair fight to the Captain, Blood let loose with the punches but was intercepted yet again, this time, by the Elite Mobile Task Force who had come for Ryu. Blood Falcon and Captain Falcon continue their quarrel outside in their respective machines, until Blood Falcon was led off a cliff, unable to escape his machine as it exploded from reaching the bottom.

A large group of 25 Blood Falcons would make their appearance in Lap 32, Black Shadow revealing he created them from the Reactor Might. By the 3rd to 27th main Blood Falcon, the clones have picked up the ability to shapeshift. If not themselves, their machines definitely.

After 25 of them (including Blood #3) meet their demise in Dark Space, there is another Blood Falcon (#28) that seems to be more skilled, seen in Lap 38. #28 is the one who was pulled into the Boost Fire vortex to Dark Space with Captain Falcon, while on planet Tank.

Black Shadow's wording in Lap 39 - Mobile Task Force Breakup implies that he revived Blood Falcon (presumably #28 from Lap 38) as a liquid human. Assuming this is still Blood #28, the liquid Blood Falcon presents himself in the throne room. He was a definite shape shifter, capable of transforming from a bullet into a whole other person such as the Galaxy Police Chief. But such tactics were caught onto by Clank Hughes, who the Elite Mobile Task Force did not initially believe when it came to his claims about the supposed 'Chief.'

Liquid #28 then used his Chief disguise to frame and disband the entire Task Force. There is a possibility that he may have been successful if Clank did not witness this change in form. #28 then met his brutal demise at the hands of Ryu Suzaku utilizing a Boost Fire while accelerating into a flaming area of the electric plant that Dark Million was attacking. Blood Falcon was disfigured horribly and ultimately ceased to exist.

Blood Falcon did, however, make a flashback appearance in Lap 45 - Zoda when Zoda realized that the contents that Roger Buster and Draq were delivering to a base on Lightning possibly had some correlation to Blood Falcon's creation.

F-Zero GP Legend (GBA game)

In the F-Zero GP Legend GBA game, which has inconsistency issues with the anime due to being released early in the show's run, Blood Falcon appears in several characters' story modes.

Trivia

  • Unlike their Mainverse counterparts, Blood Falcon and Captain Falcon in the Anime Universe are not voiced by the same person. However, Animeverse Blood Falcon retains a deeper voice than Captain Falcon, similarly to the way that Mainverse Blood Falcon has a deeper voice than Mainverse Captain Falcon in F-Zero GX.
