Takaya Imamura (今村 孝矢 Imamura Takaya) (April 10, 1966) is a Japanese artwork designer for Nintendo and is mainly responsible for the creation of many of the characters, the settings and title of the F-Zero series, including its main protagonist Captain Falcon. Despite mainly working as a designer in the games, he did serve as supervising producer for F-Zero GX, the first Nintendo GameCube title in the series. He is also responsible for the creation of many of the characters and settings in Nintendo's other famous game series Star Fox.
